WRITING CV

Biography

Lynn rekindled her passion for writing after going through a career crisis at the beginning of 2011. She started writing stories and felt a passion and excitement that had long been missing from her professional life.

She saw the initial process as a way of allowing herself the chance to practice, because while she had been an avid blogger for a couple of years, fiction writing was not something she had much experience in, and so she started exploring different kinds of writing, which then led her to start looking for competitions and submission requests.

Since September 2011 she has won two competitions, come second in another and has had a short story and flash fiction story accepted for publication.

Ultimately, Lynn wants to be able to carve herself a career in writing and publishing.

Hi Lynn, congratulations on winning 2nd prize in Author Essential short story competition. I was one of the runners up. I wonder if you know when the anthology will be published. It seems to be taking a long time. I thought it would have been out by now. By the way I am from Scotland as well but have been living in Spain for 13 years Good luck with your writing and other projects..

    • Hi Mary! I’m not sure about the anthology and haven’t heard anything as yet. I’m assuming they will email us so I just make sure I keep checking and sometimes check the website in case there is any news on there.

Congrats on being runner up and hopefully we’ll see the anthology soon!
      Lynn :-)
